You set everything up and the bot opens no trades

You finished the eight steps, signals arrive and nothing shows in your account. Check these six things in order and mark each one. Each has a short video showing where to look. The cause is almost always one of them.

Before you write to us

Make sure you look at and mark, one by one, the six possible errors below. If they are all fine and it still opens no trades, write to them and send this:

  1. A capture of the bot's two charts, with their panels in full.
  2. A capture of MetaTrader's Experts tab (at the bottom, in the Toolbox), with the last lines.
  3. Your broker's name, and whether your account is demo or real.
  4. The time of the signal that was not copied.

    1Is MetaTrader open?The bot only copies with MetaTrader open. If you switched the PC off or closed MetaTrader, open it again, or put it on a VPS.

    2Is the Algo Trading button green?At the top of MetaTrader. If it is red, click it to turn it on. Check too that the bot has Allow Algo Trading ticked in its Common tab (F7).

    3Are both panels green?One says Operator connected to the server and the other Watching the trades. If one shows a red line, look it up in Questions.

    4Is the Operator on your broker's EURUSD?With its suffix, if your broker uses one, for example EURUSDm. If it is on another pair, switch that chart to EURUSD.

    5Does your broker have the signal's pair?Look for the pair in Market Watch. If your broker doesn't have it, or names it differently, like gold as GOLD, type it in Symbols your broker names differently: XAUUSD=GOLD.

    6Was the bot on before the signal?The bot copies the signals that arrive while it runs. A signal sent earlier is not copied: wait for the next one.
